Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use gssag.com or contact GSS, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it.
1. Who we are

Contact: [email protected]
2. What data we collect
We only collect data you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical data:
- Inquiry data. When you submit a contact form, email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive your name, email address, phone number, company, country and the content of your message or project specification.
- Commercial data. Quotations, orders, delivery and service records created in the course of a contract.
- Technical data. Aggregated, non-identifying usage information such as pages visited, approximate region, browser type and referral source, collected through analytics tools.
We do not collect payment card data through this website, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 years of age.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to inquiries and prepare quotations
- To deliver, install and service equipment, and to honour warranty commitments
- To communicate about projects, spare parts and technical support
- To improve the website and our product documentation
- To meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process your data on the following bases:
- Contract — to answer pre-sales inquiries and perform supply and service agreements.
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure and improve our website, and to keep business records.
- Consent — where you have opted in, for example to receive product updates. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — to retain invoicing and customs records where required by law.
5. Cookies and analytics
This website uses a small number of essential cookies required for basic functionality. We may also use analytics services to understand aggregate traffic patterns; where required by law, analytics cookies are only set after you consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time via your browser settings or the cookie banner. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We share personal data only with parties who need it to serve you:
- Service providers such as website hosting, email delivery and CRM tools, bound by confidentiality obligations
- Logistics partners, installation crews and local service agents when they are assigned to your project
- Professional advisers, auditors and authorities where required by law
Personal data is never sold, rented or traded.
7. International transfers
As an export-oriented company, your data may be processed in China and in other countries where our group companies, sales representatives or service providers operate. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual clauses, and we handle it in accordance with this policy regardless of where it is stored.
8. How long we keep data
Inquiry and quotation records are kept for up to 24 months unless a business relationship follows. Contractual, invoicing and service records are kept for the period required by Chinese accounting and tax law. WhatsApp and email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to document the business relationship. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
9. Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures — including access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS) and staff confidentiality rules — to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we review and update our safeguards regularly.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of data we no longer need
- Object to or restrict processing, or withdraw consent previously given
- Request a machine-readable copy of data you provided to us
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
11. Third-party links
Our website may link to third-party sites such as LinkedIn, YouTube, WhatsApp or customer portals. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law evolves. The latest version is always published on this page with the revision date shown above. Material changes will be highlighted on the website where practical.
